Description: Our group is doing a project to help people who don’t have any food. We will donate food to the people in need that live in Somerset county that need it. For example some of the people might have lost their jobs recently due to the bad economy. We will get food by yout donations made out to our adress and 100 percent of the profits will go towards the needy. We prefer canned food or preservatives over anything else, but all donations will help. We will also be accepting money in any way, shape, or form. We will accept cash or checks made out to Foodforu but prefer Paypal.
We will get the food by donations and we will take the money and buy the food ourselves. This will help many people in need of food.
Goal: Our goal is to give people in somerset county who have recently lost their jobs, home, or became homeless some food so that they can survive.
Target Audience: Our audience includes homeless families and people that don't have food. The purpose of our organization is to help the people that don't have any food in Somerset County. The people we are targeting include: -Unemployed adults -Poor Families -We also are reaching out to people to help us achieve and promote our goal and organization. This includes: -Newspapers -Schools that are willing to join and help -Volunteers
Future Projects: We plan to have a carnival and urge people to give to the needy. you can bring canned food and checks to the booths we will have set up and give to the needy. we will have rides and fun other things, all of the money that we receive will go right to people who need the food. This will be held at miller lane from 12:00 to 6:30 in the evening.
Background History Our organization all started when my buddy Cameron and I thought about how grateful we were to have food.
Success Stories we had five anual carnivals in the past 5 years and the booths that were set up this years made $20,370 and got 35,590 cans. this was sent all over the world to countries that need the food and money to rebuild things. it wasn’t easy work it took us a month and a half to get all the volunteers to help but it was all worth it.
